TARO VILLAGE
We are in Taro Village's Banjar Delodsema. It is a popular tourist attraction with a range of natural and cultural beauties located in the Tegallalang District of Gianyar Regency, Bali Province.
An ancient town in Bali called Taro Village is full of historical tales and cultural artifacts. The presence of a holy priest by the name of Maha Rsi Markandeya in the seventh century is a significant point in Taro Village's lengthy history. His journey from India via east Java was intended to teach Balinese people to Hinduism. His legacy is still evident today and is known as Subak, a sophisticated technique for managing water in rice fields that is centered on preserving our natural ecosystem.
We can still witness remnants of the ancient past today. such as the magnificent Gunung Raung Temple, the Sacred Alas Jaka Forest, and the Holy White Cows (Lembu Putih)
THE LOCATION
The distance to Ubud core is 40 minutes by car. Only a 20-minute drive will take you to Tegalalang Rice Terrace. The distance between Kintamani, Gunung Kawi, and Tirta Empul Temple is around 30 minutes by car.
